Working in partnership with the center, ABM presented proposals to save long-term costs and reduce their environmental impacts by enhancing ABM’s contribution to ecosystem services. A rounded approach to sustainability in the center started with elevated efforts to recycle and re-use as well as thinking of ways to implement biodiversity at the center in a visibly engaging way.
J.E.E.P aims to tackle misconceptions of the FM industry among young people and showcase the potential for a long-term career in the industry. Our goal is to change perceptions of the further education available, such as apprenticeships and degrees, providing open discussions.
ABM worked with Manor Walks to create a plant nursery on the site to build up the local native habitat for wildlife and to support the six beehives. The beehives were carefully placed to avoid any contamination from poisonous pesticides in the area. The community was actively encouraged to get involved such as donating plants, materials and equipment.

The centre recognises the importance of taking a proactive, strategic approach to environmental management and so ABM has worked collaboratively with them to create a more sustainable bin maintenance protocol.

Working in partnership with the centre, ABM proactively presented proposals to save long-term costs and reduce their environmental impacts.

The Rock Assembly is a virtual event aimed at encouraging young people to think big about their futures. Engaging with schools to support young people in socio-economically deprived locations by providing a sense of future, career growth, and limitless opportunity in the FM industry. In 2021, ABM hosted five sessions throughout the day with ABM team members involved as volunteers.
